  • Monitored and enforced compliance to ensure that legal obligations were met during construction
  • Liaised with client inspectors (North River Midstream), worked with Mur-Cal Foremen on reporting and clean-up of spills and ROW housekeeping, and ensured activities complied with environmental regulations and approval conditions.
  • Monitored construction activities, advised field crews, monitored USM/topsoil grubbing and mulching for proper soil handling execution within ROW boundaries, and monitored erosion and sediment control devices.
  • Reviewed and audited environmental documentation such as cleaning logs and tailgates, completed weekly yard inspections, and assisted the Environmental Coordinator in developing the watercourse and wetland Crossing plan.
  • Assisted in clearing to ensure the Old Growth Management Area was not trespassed, clearing per the Environmental Management Plan, a plan for maintaining the WHA, Fisher Habitat, established around environmentally sensitive areas.

Pembina Pipeline
  • Monitored construction activity within the Pembina pipeline through daily reporting and completing wildlife screening surveys for at-risk species
  • Observed efforts, including compliance with applicable legislation and reporting to the Pembina Environmental Lead
  • Ensured signage was in place for water crossings and reviewed reclamation procedures, wildlife habitat, and culturally significant areas.
