As a banquet cook I was apart of multiple upscale events such as Concours de Elegance, AT&T pro am, the women’s pro am, Peeble beach food and wine, and many more. I have cooked and created food that people have enjoyed. I have done both prep and assembly of food. I have also grilled, roasted, baked and performed other cooking techniques to produce high volume meals.
As a kitchen manager I over saw all creation and playing of food. I also handled all inventory, scheduling, and hiring of all employees in the kitchen. One of my biggest ideals is to promote open communication which I believe results in reduced conflict among staff.
In this position I was in-charge of all money drops, inventory, and monitoring of all minor staff members. At the location I worked at we hired many kids out of high-school work programs who wanted to feel what it would be like in a real work environment. My job was to insure the safety and well being of these minor staff members.
