ESB (Enterprise Service Bus) Research/Product Evaluation, 11/XX/10, 11/XX/10, As the complexity of YCRM integrations increased, there was a need to build system based on SOA & ESB based framework to avoid tight coupling to CRM systems and to enable reuse of services. I lead the SOA & ESB research and the work involved was as follows: Evaluate different middleware products for use of ESB. Main products evaluated were TIBCO, Oracle SOA Suite, WS02. Worked with TIBCO & Oracle to arrange a series of Tech Talks and Workshops about their ESB products. Did capacity planning and pricing comparison. Lead the ESB foundation team to come up with infrastructure and common services. Did POCs in TIBCO, Oracle SOA Suite, WS02. Created ESB roadmap and came up came up with ESB reference model. Presented the findings to Senior executives and got their buy in for the ESB project implementation.
