- Provide high-quality direct patient care on a fast-paced acute medical/surgical unit.
- Assist patients with ADLs including bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
- Monitor and document vital signs (NIBP, HR, RR, SpO₂, temperature) using EPIC.
- Support safe patient mobility, turning, repositioning, lifting, and fall-prevention protocols.
- Assist nurses with specimen collection, catheter care, colostomy care, and post-operative recovery support.
- Maintain strict infection-control standards to ensure a clean and safe hospital environment.
- Collaborate closely with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to support coordinated patient care.
- Provide emotional support and compassionate bedside care to enhance patient comfort and safety.
- Provide direct patient care, assisting with bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting.
- Monitor and document vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and oxygen levels.
- Assist with patient mobility, repositioning, and transfer assistance to prevent falls and pressure ulcers.
- Support colostomy and urinary catheter care, ensuring patient hygiene and comfort.
- Maintain infection control standards, and ensure a safe and sanitary patient environment.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to residents, improving their quality of life.
- Communicate effectively with nurses, doctors, and interdisciplinary teams for coordinated patient care.
