My name is Gaby Soleimani and I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. I am living in New York City and attend Parsons School of Design, working to get a BBA for Strategic Design and Management. I am a creative interested in many forms of design, whether it be fashion, interior, graphic, or product design. I also enjoy working on the business and management side of such creative endeavors. My strongest personal work since beginning my education at Parsons has focused on creative direction, fashion styling, fashion design, and image and film direction. As I continue my education as a second year student at Parsons, my classes begin to have a stronger focus on business in fashion, with classes such as Visual Merchandising, Design Research Methods, and Marketing, Branding, and PR. My professional work experience has been fashion, interior, and graphic design related working for EB Denim, Rose Tarlow Melrose House, Mansour Fine Rugs, and as Head of Design for my company, ProbaWear. I most recently interned for EB Denim, where I practicted and gained many creative skills across the board and became very familiar with the ins and outs of the brand and the fashion industry as a whole. I am constantly striving to gain more knowledge and skills within the fashion and design fields and beyond. I am a hardworking and passionate student with strong design skills and a good eye, eager to take on an internship or creative position.
