Gabriel Bakare

This is a different department which I was promoted to, that deals with fruit processing and packaging. In this department, I work with as a team with very skilled and reliable individuals and our duties are;

- cleaning and organizing the packaging, processing and unveiling areas.

- proper washing, rinsing and sanitizing of chopping tables, packaging tables, racks, machines, conveyors, cutting tools, utensils and cleaning tools before and after use.

- efficient use of time while working on processing and packaging products according to orders.

- informing supervisors of errors and emergencies in the work environments.

-Effective usage of personal protective equipments during all stages of fruit production.

- performing the role of team lead or follower when required.

- encouraging collective work output from everyone in the team.

- cleaned and maintained warehouse in compliance with OSHA safety standards.

• Loaded, unloaded, and moved material to and from storage and production areas.
• Checked packages and merchandise for damage and notified vendors.
• Operated pallet jacks and material moving equipment to receive and transport items from various warehouse locations.
• Performed general housekeeping and cleaning tasks.
• Inspected work areas for cleanliness and obstacles and removed cartons and boxes to keep work areas organized and hazard-free.
• Consistently lifted materials weighing as much as Number pounds.
• Contributed to achieving team goals with consistent punctuality, reliability, and adherence to established performance standards.
