• Implement training and development programs across 17 Sam’s Club locations across all of Southern California to build team capability and ensure consistency in fresh operations.
• Partner with Regional Fresh Director, Market Manager and Produce Director to assess skill gaps, design targeted training sessions, and apply best practices that elevate performance.
• Deliver hands-on coaching in produce, floral, deli, and freezer/cooler departments, improving product handling, merchandising, and food safety execution.
• Instruct targeted training classes using Sam’s Club training programs as a guide for fresh leadership and associates across the market.
• Conduct detailed recaps with Excel and PowerPoint and follow-up training plans to address opportunities and reinforce operational standards.
• Utilize NPS (Net Promoter Score) results to identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions that improve customer experience and operational execution.
• Oversee food safety and sanitation compliance, ensuring all clubs meet NRFSP and company standards.
• Manage certification and recertification for 180+ associates through NRFSP exam coordination, training delivery, and performance tracking.
• Collaborate with corporate partners to align training initiatives with regional objectives and drive continuous improvement across all fresh departments.
