Here I had opportunity to lead a team through a banking system conversion, and was responsible for setting up a positive environment for staff to practice in as well as creating a training schedule
In September 2013 I was asked to transfer to the Glenmore Branch of Valley First to prepare and assist in closing the branch permanently
This was a huge undertaking and a big learning curve for me
During those last few months I answered member questions around the branch closure
In 2010 I transferred to Kelowna and joined the Guisachan Branch of Valley First

I transitioned to side counter position within the first year
In this role I supported the Supervisor Cash Services as well as the Manager Member Service by posting and balancing treasury, ordering/shipping cash, maintaining SDBS as well as account opening and assisting members in branch and by phone
This role taught me the basics and during this time I gained confidence in my skills and knowledge.
