Frederick Zeitler

I've been in the Banking business for roughly 45 years, in positions ranging from Branch Manager to Vice President. Eventually settling into a more portfolio management role which suited my strengths and desire to work independently from the standard retail environment.

I was hired by Coastal Community Credit Union as a Senior Commercial Lender. With the Credit Unions operations centered in Nanaimo, the position entailed developing their presence in the Capital Region. Upon arrival, the commercial book was roughly $40MM, upon retiring in Sept 2023 the book had grown to well over $500MM. Prior to Coastal Community I spent five years with First West Credit Union "Envision Financial Division" the second largest Credit Union in Canada. I maintained their largest and most profitable commercial portfolio of roughly $900MM. As with all previous banking positions, I attribute my success to employing strong networking and interpersonal skills.

As someone who displays compassion to others, I believe translates well to a position in the Handy Dart world. I possess an even temperament, easy going in nature and calm under pressure which others pick up on quickly, Presenting a calm demeanor often relaxes others to have trust in my abilities.

I'm married, 68 years of age, non drinker, very fit with no physical or medical conditions. As well, I have a clean driving record, no accidents and currently possess a class 5&6 license.

My pastimes include yoga 5 days a week, hiking and riding my motorcycle.

I retired from my position with Coastal Community in Sept 2023, I've since reached a decision to factor in some employment to augment my pension income and work with people. To be honest, Handy Dart suites my interests in assisting seniors and individuals with physical challenges,
