1. Vice President (Academics), Nigerian Student's Association- September 2021 - April 2022, Calgary, AB.

  • Planned, booked and scheduled events that fostered good academic habits and career advancements with internal and external organizations for our members like study sessions, KPMG career panels, Professional Headshots photoshoot sessions, etc.,
  • Initiated a collaboration between the club and the Nigerian Embassy in Ottawa to facilitate easier and better passport renewal procedures among many of their other services for students.
  • Initiated details like the theme, dress code and other specifics for the annual gala while planning, negotiating and coordinating everything else with the team.
  • Moderated that gala and the subsequent one.


2. Junior Communications Executive, Nigerian Student's Association- September 2020 - April 2021, Calgary, AB.

  • Managed the club's communications via e-mail while strategically building new and maintaining old relationships with other clubs, external organizations and the University of Calgary's Student Union body.
  • Created a mailing list and maintained it by sending monthly newsletters as well as other different types of communiqué to ensure member retention and participation.
  • Delivered prompt responses to inquiries from current and prospective members while collaborating effectively with executives from other departments, ensuring a seamless academic year for the club. Our efforts were recognized with the 'Student Life Award'.
