I take care of opening the restaurant, preparing breakfasts for customers, and using the cash register.
During lunch service I also help in the dining room by taking orders and serving meals and drinks.

At first my main assignments were to talk to kids of various ages about Europe and the opportunities it offers.
With the arrival of Covid-19 my mission changed.
My task remained directed towards internationality and Interculture but I also did animations and activities with children aged 6 to 12 years.
The entire duration of the volunteering was done in English and French.

I worked for a three-week trial period and, although the employer had offered me a fixed-term contract, I refused in order to go to France as a European Volunteer. I worked two or three days a week gaining experience with customers and preparing ice cream and other delicacies.
