I enjoy reading during my spare time. I like to read self-help books as well as fantasy and fiction. The self-help books help me to grow in areas in which I would like to improve. The genres of fantasy and fiction provide me with a brief escape into alternative realms, which I find enjoyable, as it sparks my creativity and imagination. I have always enjoyed writing, even as a child. I enjoyed using my imagination to write creative stories in school. I also excelled at writing essays in high school and university. I continue to write as often as I can. I write daily journals which I find to be very cathartic and from time to time I will also write business letters, when necessary, which provides me with a different kind of writing challenge. I have always the "go-to" person, for editing and revising amongst family and friends which brings me great pleasure and satisfaction. I've always enjoyed the mechanics of writing and the sense of progression and improvement, as I continuously learn and apply new skills. Baking is a very relaxing hobby which also serves as regular sweet treats for my family. I like to bake my seasonal favorites come Fall, Christmas, Easter, etc. Finally, crafting is another activity which allows me to use my creativity for various occasions and purposes.
