Maintained the Midnight experimental aircraft. Tasks include:

  • Avionics troubleshooting of indicated faults during flight test operations.
  • Avionics on-board instrumentation calibrations (ADS, AHARS, etc.).
  • Wire harness cable repairs and installs including splices, shield termination, various connector to cable terminations, Soldier connections and PCB board repairs.
  • BMS (Battery management system) functional tests for High and low voltage systems.
  • Perform aircraft daily and interval inspections for maintainability.
  • Servicing of aircraft components, such as landing gears, battery cooling systems,

Maintenance Planner/writer -

As a Maintenance Planner/writer, I was responsible for writing service and work instructions for the Midnight experimental aircraft. Tasks include:

  • Component removal and installation.

FTI ( Flight test instrumentation) technician lead -

As a FTI technician, My role was to fabricate test fixtures, Install and test flight test sensors and equipment, facilitate proof load test operations. Tasks include:

  • Liaison between the FTI and aircraft manufacturing teams to facilitate parallel work progression and instrumentation testing.
  • Fabricate FTI and proof-load test harnesses.
  • Installation of strain gauges, accelerometers, and data acquisition units.
  • Installation of Click Bond standoffs for harnessing, using CB200 or an equivalent bonding agent.
