As a Master of Chemical Engineering Student that is about to graduate, I possess a diverse range of skills and experience in process design, optimization, and control. With my analytical and problem-solving abilities, I am well-equipped to contribute to the
development of innovative solutions in the field of chemical
engineering especially in my research areas that are waste management, electrochemistry, and wastewater treatment.
Supervisors: Professors Viviane Yargeau and Sasha Omanovic
Using electrochemical degradation to oxidize benzalkonium chloride by using boron doped
diamond as anode and stainless steal as cathode. In the best condition, I was able to oxidize
BAC completely in around 30 minutes.
Supervisor: Professor Ahmad Mohaddes Pour
Creating a process from scratch to use pyrolysis for conversion of waste tires into pyrolytic oil
(Target product), activated carbon black, non-condensable gases, and ash. I used rotary kiln
reactor for doing the main reaction and designed it based on process variables. I also did
HAZOP and economical analysis for the process and its equipment.
