
I am a student currently enrolled at Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts, having completed the Culinary Arts program and training in Baking and Pastry. FoodSafe level 1 and Serving it Right Certified aspiring Chef with an attention to detail, good problem solving skills, and a creative drive. I have 90+ hours volunteering in the kitchen and at events with no intention to stop while I'm studying. I am adaptable and open to learning new techniques, working with new ingredients, and maintaining a level of quality work and professionalism while being faced with new challenges.
Over 30 hours coordinating team activities during Iron Chef-style events to promote safety, cleanliness, and an enjoyable atmosphere prior to dinner service at Pacific Institute of Culinary Arts.
Helped cook, assemble, and expedite over 200 turkey dinners leading up to Christmas with Chef Lian Cosby and the PICA team.
Teamed up with Fanny Bay Oyster Bar and Malindi Taylor to shuck oysters for Yes Shef 2025 where I created my own mignonette to pair with the oysters and shucked for service.
Regularly assisting Chef Lian Cosby with prep in the kitchen, cutting vegetables, fabricating fish, cleaning meat and helping with production.
Assisted teaching chefs during pasta classes put on by the school. gathering and scaling ingredients, ensuring each station has the correct equipment, answering questions and helping guests when asked.
Assisted Chef Angus An with prep for a Thai Cooking class hosted by the school, ensured all the ingredients were scaled, labeled, and organized properly prior to the class
Assisted Chef Lian Cosby with a paella cooking class. Ensured customers had all the equipment they needed, assisted guests with the cooking, did ingredient prep, and prepared drinks for guests.
Worked with Chef Behshad Zolnasr and the C|Prime team at the annual Wine Festival held at PICA to serve a dish. Demonstrated quick thinking, adaptability, and problem solving skills.
