Finbar Kelly

I am responsible for the safe supervision of youth learning beach sports. I have been working at MacSailing every summer since I was 15 until I completed University. I started as a volunteer and worked my way through Beach Supervision, Coach Boat, Canoe and Sailing Instructor. Two years ago, I was tasked with developing the curriculum for non-water sports and games so that other Coaches and Management could create continuity and standardization. I am responsible for safety of these young participants. From time to time I am required to interface with Parents. Some participants come to the program with special needs that I am happy to accommodate.

During my final couple of months in Seville I became a waiter. Here I used my Spanish and English, as well as knowledge of other languages, to serve customers.
