Ferron Ouwehand-Minchin

I've worked alongside a team to accomplish projects and provide a safe park experience for the public, according to schedule. I have assisted with the implementation of habitat restoration projects, and wildlife surveys, promoting environmental stewardship through hands-on experiences in the field.

I was a part of the leadership team who made decisions on behalf of the non-profit organization. Responsibilities included, organizing events and camps, administrative duties, interviewing & hiring new staff, and managing our seasonal employees.

Implemented the Xcel program, within a year I grew the team from zero to forty athletes, where the team excelled at Provincial competitions. I established clear expectations for behavior during practices, competitions, and team events to promote a fun and safe environment amongst athletes.

Ensured visitor safety by enforcing park regulations and monitoring activities on park grounds. We were voted the #1 Park in British Columbia during my time there.
