Have an eye for detail and the ability to effectively deal with Guest/ Tenant, other departments and housekeeping staff.
Obtain list of vacant rooms/ apartments to be cleaned immediately and list of prospective checkouts or discharges in order to prepare work assignments.
Assigns team members their duties and inspects work for conformance to prescribed standards of cleanliness.
Maintain clear and efficient communication and coordination with Front Office and other departments.
Schedules the cleaning of the room carpets, upholstery and draperies as needed, along with deep cleaning projects and window cleaning as necessary.
Schedules periodic major cleaning projects including cleaning of walls and base boards, cleaning of windows and all exit glass door.
Inventories cleaning supplies and linen stock to ensure adequate supplies.
Investigates concerns regarding housekeeping service and equipment and take corrective action.
Provides support to the Director of Housekeeping operation in all areas of Housekeeping operation, such as staff training, coaching, and also enforces to the hotels/ apartments standard operating procedures.
Ensures guest rooms are properly secured and that proper key control procedures are utilized by the housekeeping staff.
Maintain high quality of housekeeping standards in: The guest room / apartments, Linens and uniforms, Lost and found, Laundry, Public Area.
Confirm all housekeeping staff members have arrived or find substitutes for absent employees.
Coordinate with vendors: Pest Control, AC Service Provider and other outsource services.
Submit request for repair and periodic maintenance of cleaning equipment.
Attend training seminars to perfect housekeeping techniques and procedures, and enhance supervisory skills.
Schedules Preventive Maintenance for AC, Pest Control, Alarm System, Smoke Alarm and all apartment door lock to make sure all in good condition.
