A motivated student eager to apply my classroom knowledge to solve real-world problems, with a strong willingness to learn and contribute in the field of product design engineering. With a collaborative mindset, and multicultural background, I'm ready to bring fresh perspectives and a strong work ethic to my next work experience.
Worked with a real client on a project in Vigan, France. Used the blueprints to create a model of his house on SketchUp, and proposed a more sustainable design for the exterior wall cladding. Also, worked with AutoCAD to support the preparation of the building permit application.
Design of a remote-controlled car that could carry a golf ball through an obstacle course before being released into a hole. Designed the golf ball release mechanism by making a 3D-printed ramp on SolidWorks and used a servo to power the gate that released the ball.
Group design project of an in-pipe inspection robot that could maneuver through T-sections with varying diameters. Proposed a system of wheels connected by a retractable rod and spring for the locomotion mechanism.
Designed residential blocks that responded to the client's needs and ensured building safety, sustainability, and compliance with construction standards. Made a physical model of it using CAD/CAM (including operation of laser cutter & 3D printer).
Completed a dissertation on potential design engineering solutions to make today's electric cars more sustainable and affordable. Looked at the possible integration of various technologies, including solar cells, ultracapacitors, and hydrogen fuel cells.
