I spent 6 months at Mark's surrounded by a very hard working crew, who taught me everything I needed to know about working in the retail business. I spent my shifts covering for cashiers, folding clothes, and helping customers around the store. I only worked part-time since I was employed during the school year. My time at Mark's further grew my ability to speak with customers, and satisfy their needs. This was my first time working as a sales associate, so my communication skills definitely grew.

At Triple O's, I mostly served as a cashier, and bagged/served food to the Drive-Thru along with the front register. My work experience consisted of many different responsibilities: Working under pressure, being assigned to different roles, cooperating with my co-workers, communicating with the customers, and taking initiative to bring a great reputation to the business. My time at Triple O's helped me develop many core competency skills, and I grew great discipline revolving around work.

Volunteer Experience

  • Kids Sport Charity, Kelowna, BC, 2019: Triple O's hosted a Kids Sport Charity event to raise funds for donating sports equipment to kids in need. For approximately every $400 raised, one child in a B.C. community gets a chance to play sports for a full year. I helped raise money by setting up a booth within the store, to recommend people to donate.


  • Parkinson's Rec Centre, Kelowna, BC, 2022: At around the end of April last year, I helped package numerous boxes of food to feed hundreds during Eid (Ramadan). Triple O's provided all of the food, and me, including several others, cooked and packaged the food, then served it to the hundreds waiting in the venue.
