Coordinating the emergency management planning related to the WSA’s Dam Safety program with the following tasks;

• Developing, Updating, maintaining and testing Emergency Action Plans(EAPs) including Emergency Preparedness Plans and Emergency Response Plans
• Stakeholder engagement including training, notification management, updating their information and plan role outs
• Planning table top exercises and training sessions
• Support the execution of external contracts, project management, and coordination
• Reviewing guidelines, procedures and directives

Assisting the management of multiple complex projects related to flood hazard including:

managing contractors (e.g., engineers, planners, other professional services), monitoring budgets, timelines, overall progress, and deliverables to ensure on-time, on-budget project completion

• Collaborating with consultants to manage changes and address issues
• Providing timely internal progress and status report
• Supporting project outreach and engagement activities by:
• Acting as a liaison among contractors, advisors, stakeholders, and the team.
• Organizing, supporting, and facilitating advisory processes, committee meetings, workshops, and other engagement activities with various stakeholders.
• Providing logistical planning, technical support, facilitation, and note taking for meetings and events, both in-person and virtual.

Team member in Drinking Water Conservation program under Greater Metro Vancouver by conducting the following activities:

· Data Collection, validation, and analysis

· Documentation and reporting

· Public outreach, education and engagement

Projects: Hazard and risk management studies, developing emergency action, emergency management and business continuity plans for different infrastructures with the fucose on water sector including dams, water transmission systems and treatment plants

• Designing, development, and implementing Business Continuity, emergency management plan (ERP, EMP, EAP), preparedness plan for multi hazards
• Evaluating and monitoring procedures of plans
• Designing and implementing exercises in different scales and scopes for different infrastructures
• Facilitating presentation and technical meetings with involved committees and partners

Successful record of developing 25 emergency management and business continuity plans, 15 emergency action plans for dams within set time frames upon satisfaction of clients

• Development of preparedness, response and recovery plans mainly for wildfires, storms and floods for the community and existing infrastructures
• Reviewing the existing emergency management plans and facilitating their implementation within the community
• Preparing the Unit and personnel development plan including training of personnel
• Managing the functions of the unit, facilities and equipment(assets) and the unit accounting system
