Leveraging my rich educational background, adept problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills as the Assistant Superintendent at the North Vancouver School District. My goal is to drive positive change, foster innovation, and contribute to the district’s growth and success.

• 2005, 2019, Presenter, Simon Fraser University, Keynote speaker for the Faculty of Education's Symposium (topic: Becoming Otherwise) at Simon Fraser University. Presentations to the Character Conference in Abbotsford, the BCASCO (BC School District Secretary Treasurers' Association), Ismaili education fairs, North American Webinars, and numerous faculties in schools across the lower mainland.
• 1998, 2005, Middle School Teacher (Coquitlam School District), Teaching at Pitt River Middle School and Como Lake Middle School in various areas ranging from grade 7-9 with a Humanities and Technology focus.

• 2011, Featured by the BCPVPA (British Columbia Principals and Vice Principals Association)
• 2011, Canada's Outstanding Principal Award, Ontario, Awarded Canada's Outstanding Principal by the Learning PartnershipIn Ontario. The program recognized outstanding leadership and allowed entrance into a two-week executive training program at the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.
• 2010, Advisor to the Premier's Technology Council on the paper “A Vision for Education for the 21st Century”

1. Board Member for the Ismaili STEP Program for BC (2015, 2018):

o As a board member, you contributed to the Secondary Teacher Education Program (STEP) in British Columbia. This program empowers Ismaili students by providing them with quality education. Your dedication helped shape the future of these young minds.

2. Appointed to the Aga Khan Education Board for Canada (2012, 2015):

o His Highness the Aga Khan entrusted you with a critical role. As the National Member overseeing nine learning centers across Canada, you championed education for over 1,500 refugee students. Your impact extended beyond borders, fostering inclusivity and knowledge exchange.

3. Presenter for the Aga Khan Education Services Africa (March 2010):

o In Nairobi and Mombasa, Kenya, you shared your expertise with passion. Your presentation under the Aga Khan Education Services umbrella left an indelible mark, inspiring educators and shaping educational practices.
