Faith Alvarez

Growing up with family responsibilities has taught me resilience, patience, and leadership at a young age. Balancing school, work, and caring for my four younger siblings with a single parent has shaped me into someone who leads with empathy and strength. As a captain for my high school varsity softball team at Glendale High School and now at Pasadena City College, I have learned the importance of teamwork. Throughout my journey of adulthood, these experiences both on the field and at the PCC STEM Science Center, I've grown into a person who finds purpose in helping others and turning challenges into motivation for success.

• Became a Science Center Ambassador at Pasadena City College, helping peers succeed in STEM and serving as a role model for other students.
• Graduated Cum Laude and received multiple awards, including Varsity Softball, Nitro Spirit, and Adelante Awards, showcasing dedication both in athletics and academics.
