I worked at this very busy East Indian Restaurant that had a large buffet as well as a la carte dishes. I would start with helping to set up the buffet, make sure it was clean. I would prepare cutlery and napkins, set the tables take the order, Serve it. Use the computer to input the order(Some tables would have 20 people. I would clean up the dishes off the tables. OFTEN I would make alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks as well, suggest wine pairings and serve it .Prepared serve non alcoholic drinks like coffee. Than after I would clean up the place including vacuuming ,cleaning the buffet area . We also did weddings at times and some special events.
