"Ethan Zaichick did an incredible job in recently caring for a hypothermic patient.
Before I got to resusc, they had the patient appropriately undressed, warming packs going, bear hugger going, and had warm blankets. They were getting warm fluids started.
By acting quickly to immediately stop the cooling and beginning actively warming their quick action resulted in an uncomplicated warming process.
Had there been a delay, This patient would have surely arrested, and it would’ve taken the entire departments resources to resuscitate this individual.
Kudos for knowing exactly what to do in a critical emergency case. We are lucky to have such amazing RNs who know how to think and act fast to improve patient care and outcomes"-Dr.Rafferty
