I am skilled in managing budgets, making financial decisions, prioritizing what needs to be done first and liaising with care facilities to find appropriate solutions needed to solve my clients' problems. I have also learned how to take and write case notes, deal with clients diligently, maintain confidentiality and support clients in achieving their set goals. My experiences have taught me strong social work ethics, helping people while being an empathetic listener, being thorough and double checking numbers and when paying bills. I work well in team environments and can juggle many tasks at once. I have knowledge of diverse cultures and resources available in the society as I am always researching to know more. During the course of my work, I have learnt to look at legislation and I am familiar with the income support program. Through various work experience I have learned to facilitate programming and advocating for clients when needed. I am analytical, and able to meet deadlines, I am also able to create a positive communication space along with the ability to create and implement plans aimed at the well-being of clients is sure to prove beneficial. Youth Services Officer

  • Perform a full range of duties related to the supervision and case management of youth utilizing a relationship custody/cognitive learning behavioral approach.
