While working in the Pull and Bear store, I received an invitation from an HR employee for a meeting with a very powerful businessman in Albania, where he operates with over 13 businesses in different fields, but the one with the greatest potential was Megatek Sh.a ( like IKEA but many times bigger). This direct invitation to meet the owner of the company, who is also the CEO, tempted me and after an agreement, he started a huge project who I was responsible for everything .
Here I started working intensively in the office with a work procedures employee where I implemented complete store procedures for each job position from the warehouse to the store employees. After all the work procedures were approved by the CEO of the company,
I focused for 2 months on the warehouse where I gave the proper training to the employees, I made sure that the incoming products were registered in the system and then distributed in the warehouse according to the work procedures, in cooperation with the procurers who worked from the office and only 4 people in the warehouse made an entry of 900,000 quantity that came from 20 different brands.
After the warehouse took the right direction, together with the team of the two stores, I started with the set up of the store, first I calculated how much is capacity of the store , I took the layout and made the plan of where each brand would be positioned, after calculating how much stock I needed for each surface, I got on the computer and made all the orders of the store taking into account brands and categories were all must be in the store, so for 2 days I worked on the computer sending the orders I needed and the warehouse started executing my orders, in this way I had made 30,000 quantity orders that were being executed in sequence as I had requested to the manager of the warehouse, so I created the opportunity for myself to be in the store personally to take care of the visualy merchendaiser of the store, for about 15 days, all the orders came and I was completely done with the store. My last job to this store was to organized 4 teams with 4 printers each, where in 1 day we completed the price labeling of the Items in store.
After finishing the Tirana Outlet Village store, I continued in same way directly with the other Tirana Outlet Park store, which was located near TEG shopping center, and I was very motivated to compete with the shopping center where I developed and learned everything, even though I knew that we were a newly created company and growing, but the desire to strengthen this project as it was TEG was great. With the skills I had gained from my experience of 7 years in retail, I managed to complete the opening of two stores of 1800 square meters each, 3200 square meters of warehouse, and this gave me even greater confidence in my experience, despite the fact that each company is different. and it has its own procedures, but I think that in any field of retail that I will face in my life, I have an experience that can make me learn things much faster.
Working in one of the most powerful retail companies in the whole world, I received training from people with highky skills, I worked with systems such as RFID, I traveled for store openings where I got experience in setting up the store . At Pull e Bear we didn't have a visual merchandiser, so we the managers take care of the visual side, every week we make big changes in the sector with an area of 1300 square meters shop floor, as Inditex brings new products every week. Working in one of the stores where there are more sales than any other store since it is a favorite of people and the shopping center ensured a large traffic of people, we received about 2000-3500 pcs 2 times per week and this amount was due to the quantity that were sold, we had a very intense work physically and psychologically as the company operates with productivity and each work process is calculated according to the formula to use working hours according to the budget. The store systems, such as the store's inventory, almost every month and it only took 2 hours, we had the visual side of the store on a tablet or we printed them to see what would be needed to do in the store, We had a application who tell us which items to bring out in shoopfloor when they are not exposed, and other systems made our work a lot easier, but the great pressure that this experience had has given me a great ability in managing situations also the visits face to face that we have with a HR, country HR, International HR, IT, Country MNG, DM, General Service Responsible, Safety Responsible, or visits from people with global positions that were a bit odd, but all of these have given me a strong experience, self-confidence, and great management skills.
