Currently working at Chartwell Willow Retirement as a casual/on call HCA for return to service of 1 year after completion of my HCAP program course from Douglas College in Coquitlam.
I am a fast worker, work well with others and love being able to assist those that need help. I am a people person who always strives to do my best, learn from other to be better each day, and go above and beyond daily.
I have learned a small amount of a few languages to assist with comfort and care for others that English is not their first language.
I have a son who has both ASD and ADHD, and I have learned a lot about both and use that knowledge daily. I am still learning more every day, and it has helped me to have a better understanding of both. I am also very patient and take my time and have grown even more in understanding everyone is different. Taking time and working with everyone as an individual and learning from them is important.
I enjoy:
- Culinary and food, trying out new recipes
- Spending time with family and having adventures to new places
- Learning more about the world around us
- Listening to music
- Playing games that allow me to expand my mind and learn new things and problem solve
