• Collaborated with Provincial Director(s) and Human Resources to assist recruitment efforts to attract, employ and retain talented writers and support workers for the Gladue Services Department.
• Directly supervise a team of up to 24 staff and a maximum of 50 contract roster Gladue Report Writers and manage Intake team, Gladue Report Writers and Gladue Support Worker as well as program development.
• Conducted performance evaluations to identify strength based areas for employee growth and constructive feedback.
• Implemented and collaborated to offer training for enhanced employee skills and provided Indigenous trauma informed practices to support person served as well as staff to reduce the effects of trauma.

• Evaluated administrative system's of GSD to develop more efficient performance by monitoring daily activities and making necessary changes to enhance service outcomes to enhance Strategy 6 of BCFNJCs Justice Strategy.

• Created and implemented procedures to help guide operational framework for Gladue Writers and Intake team and currently developing procedures for the support worker program.

• In depth sentencing reports under CCC 718(2)(e) submitted to court for sentencing considerations for indigenous offenders to inform the judiciary of the effects of colonization of Indigenous peoples and provide the alternative considerations to incarceration to address the over-incarceration of Indigenous persons in the justice system.
• Participated in E-Gladue advisory committee with an initiative for a whiteboard video the International Centre for Criminal Law Reform
• Developed for distribution to BCFNJC –“Gladue rights cards”
• Gladue Reports requires advanced professional writing skills, interviewing from a Trauma informed methodology and advanced understanding of the unique circumstances of the effects of colonialism on our Indigenous people and communities.

• As Program Coordinator, supervised 2 supports workers and a Supervised Access Worker and multiple practicum students
• Responsible for developing programming, file assignment and reports
• Submitted proposals and obtained grants and funding for family programming
• Developed a new program “Rapid Response Worker” to assist Metis families in crisis and involved with Ministry of Children and Families, Family Legal Counsel and various family service agencies

• As a Legal Assistant I was responsible for supporting three lawyers and an articling student.
• Responsible for ensuring schedules are up-to date, fix court appearances, upkeep of files and all relevant court documents are filed and copied and distributed appropriately in a criminal law practice.
• Handled incoming and outgoing correspondence for streamlined communication.
• Maintained strict confidentiality, protecting sensitive client information as required by legal ethics and regulations.
• Handled billing tasks efficiently and accurately, ensuring smooth financial operations for the legal team.

Adult Diversion Program 2009-January 2016

• Developed adult program to meet the complex needs of clients, community and crown counsel, community corrections, parole for Indigenous offenders utilizing Restorative Justice approaches to address crime in the community and the over representation of Indigenous in the Criminal Justice System.
• Provided healing circles for alternative measures and diversion through Indigenous Restorative Justice cultural teachings.

OPTIONS Program March 2007-2010

• Developed and implemented a new Restorative Justice program in the School District #57 as an alternative to suspension for to help Indigenous Students in school. Developed a recruiting, screening process and training program for Restorative Practices.

4TH DIMENSION Program (2006)

• A reintegration program offered to Indigenous youth in the Prince George Youth Corrections Centre (PGYCC) to develop a redintegrative release plans involving Indigenous youth, their families, PGYCC staff and other supports.
