  • Also working as floor manager and fully cross trained as a front cashier and drive thru taker, dealing with customer service and always making a good impression on our brand, keeping a good reputation, being professional as well as very informative on menu items, promotions and newest offers.

  • Employed with infinity Drywall as partner for 5 years, learned ins and outs of the trade was involved in both residential and commercial buildings, duties were lifting heavy equipment/setting up tools, lifting heavy drywall over head with screw guns on hand, mudding/taping, finishing, painting/textures and also demolitions
  • I worked in commercial buildings for 5 months while I lived in Alberta with my brother in - law, I stayed there for the past eight months from February to August 2010, utilizing skills of both boarding and taping
  • Working in commercial and residential buildings, learning to adapt in new environments and situations.

  • During the work inside the shop tasks varied from organizing materials banding cutting sanding sorting from plan sheets stacking palates and building all different cabinets for new homes, organization and meticulous attention to detail was mandatory
  • Working in residential commercial and even barges being done for fish farm camp workers, duties included using all kinds of hand tools levels we would figure out the layout and install kick sweeps that we leveled for cabinets to be installed and then all the finishing pieces doors, drawers handles, slides as well countertops we installed for the majority of places unless granite or other stone was used.

  • Worked unloading prawns from transport vehicles to totes straight onto forklift into where the processing was done, from their I recorded weight of prawns from a stack of 4 baskets into fresh water with specific times in and out, left for drain and then into a tub of brine once finished their it was segregated to various areas to be graded by size and packaged
  • Worked with stocking freezers with finished product which was flash frozen and stored times of product hold in and out and FIFO was to be recorded and signed off on
  • Opening preparations getting equipment ready for crew to start as well clean up and proper storing of equipment normally had to be first on the floor to have things ready for other workers in different areas of the processing line.

  • Majority of work took place out of town for various companies including western forestry, we did remodeling gutting rooms and did demolition down to bare bone transforming into one big space that was converted into a conference room, from the flooring to steal beams and posts which entailed mixing concrete and pouring into crawl spaces along the foundation to secure the 2,500 pound beam as well we did all the framing and drywall boarding
  • The taping and coating was an area that only I had done considering my previous 8 years' experience we had done the finishing as well as painting
  • Many different aspects of work being involved we used various power tools including nail guns, pinners, compact drivers, drills, mixers, grinders, table saws, sanders and welding equipment.

Deckhand

  • Recently I was working on the Yucata tug boat assembling log tows gearing them with and without assistance wearing PPE including life jackets, gloves and caulk boots we would carry pike polls to lift equipment from under logs to choke boom sticks to one another ensuring each bundle in the strings were attached and fastened properly for transport through rough currents, both dropping and undoing boom chains, as well we did many different log barges which had been brought out to different log sorts to be loaded I had worked on the winder by myself maneuvering logs into position to the operator controlling where they were loaded on the barge, communication during landing the barge was crucial tying the barges using various knots and tying techniques and communicating over walky-talky's, We had also loaded and delivered different freights to logging camps some trips spanned from 10 to 20 days
  • I also was the cook for the majority of time on the boat Cooking lunches and dinners which entitles executing good timing ensuring meals are done at accurate times to ensure the captain, mate, operator or other deckhands of the boat had eaten before their shift ends, cleanliness and cooking knowledge was definitely a good help to me with 4 years kitchen cooking experience.
