My name is Erik Wilson, and I am a 25 year old Master Electrician. I'm also a smart and ambitious individual, I got my Journeyman ticket at 21 years old, I bought my first house at 22 years old and now I have just gotten my Masters degree at 25 years old. I have been working as a maintenance electrician since June 2023 at the Drax pellet plant in Entwistle, often being the only electrician on site, but I'm looking to dive into the automation side of the trade. I have experience working hand in hand with automation to diagnose and fix issues related to PLC and instrumentation, but would like to know how to do it all. I'm keen to learn everything from programming, networking and building PLC cabinets myself, from start to finish. I'd like to become an expert in industrial automation and controls. I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty, and I'm ready to jump at any opportunity to learn.
