- I was a project engineer for 8 months at Tiercon where I got to work on several different projects

- I was mostly in charge of making solidworks designs and making engineering drawings

- The solidworks designs ranged from designing paint racks to part holds, to custom parts that we needed

- As a project engineer I would also spend time on the production floor taking precise measurements of part tolerances, taking time study's for each station, and making work instructions for the workers

- It was a great experience for me because I got to apply what I learned in school about solidworks and stress analysis into the real world and get to design something useful

• I completed my first co-op term last summer for 4 months at Honda of Canada Manufacturing located in Alliston Ontario
• My role there was as a summer student associate which meant I worked on the production line handling the parts as they came out, and checking them for quality defects or any cracking or necking on the parts
• I worked in the stamping department which was one of the only departments that worked midnights
• This co-op has taught me so much about the car production process and has opened my eyes to the benefits of working at a large company like Honda.

• I worked as a pool maintenance technician for 4 months during the summer
• My duties included opening pools, cleaning pools, doing chemical balance, and routine mechanical maintenance
• I learned a lot about pool pumps and the mechanical system behind pools, I also learned about chemical balance and how to make sure everything in the pool is in check.

• At the Brick for several months
• My duties included operating the forklift to pick and scan items for loading, using the lift truck to move items around the warehouse, and occasionally helping to load trucks
• I was trained on 3 machines so most of my time was spent operating some kind of machine in order to pick or move items around the warehouse.
