- Manage medical clearances for Prosthodontist, Oral Surgeon, and Anesthesiologist. Complete needs assessment of high-risk patients and obtain all medical records needed (H&P notes, lab works, cardiac workup) to be able to clear the patient for surgery.
- Follow up on patients who may have delayed treatment Review, coordinate, and collaborate with front office, Prosthodontist, and Oral Surgeon about patients health, needs, lab script, and treatment plan finalization.
- Review and clarify medication with patients, along with clarifying medication intake with patient's medical doctors and any other health history concerns Communicate appropriately to patients and families regarding treatment.
- Take full mouth x-rays, intraoral scans using 3Shape for diagnostic models, alginate impressions, bite registration, face bow, and extra oral pictures.
- Prep surgery room for smart denture conversion for either a double or single arch, inject fast set bite registration into intaglio surface denture and Teflon tape to locate abutments, align white dam and blue dam, drill deep walls in the denture using the blue bite registration. Seat blue rubber dam over Ti bases and notify Prosthodontic when ready for pick up.
- Deliver temporary prosthesis after surgery.
- Create a verification jig and confirm the master impression is accurate by luting cylinders together with resin material, capture a new impression and confirm esthetics with patient for final prosthesis.
- Take single multiple/ bridge intra oral impressions
- Sterilize instruments throughout the workday.
