Previously worked in a small shop primarily installing coolant and gas lines for generator skids and company products. Assembled and installed threaded, welded and soldered pipe
Cut, prep, bevelled and tack'd welded joints for qualified welders
Installed valves and pumps where needed
Used a wide variety of power and hand tools such as band saws, grinders, powered threaders, oxy-acetylene beveller's, pipe wrenches, squares and levels.
Performed low pressure hydro tests
Operated shop overhead cranes in a safe manner
rigged and hoisted pipe spools and other heavy objects
Welded pipe supports when required
Drawn small spools to assist in preparing work pieces
Ensured the work area was safe before beginning and always followed safe work practices
Always came to work on time and with a positive attitude
