- Strengthened governance with financial policies, fraud-prevention controls, collection and debt-recovery strategies, ensuring compliance with GAAP/PSAS, Ministry requirements, CRA regulations, privacy/security obligations, and PCI DSS.
- Oversee bank reconciliation, accounts receivable, year-end close, student tax-slip production, remittances, and external audit support to ensure complete, accurate, and timely financial records.
- Spearheaded SIS/PeopleSoft Student Financials modernization, directing prioritization, requirements gathering, UAT, change management, training, and adoption, enhancing automation, transparency, and self-service.
- Chair the Mandatory Supplementary Course Fee Advisory Committee, evaluating faculty proposals, consulting with the Ministry, and presenting recommendations to the Provost.
- Led, mentored, and developed professional and administrative staff; managed performance, capacity planning, and resource optimization during peak registration and fee-assessment periods.
