  • utilized Carlson Surveyor 2 to conduct field surveys such as; Topos, Boundary, Staking, Setting Local/Temp Benchmarks.
  • Utilized the CRTN to bring in control from ROS 14492 or other various ROS maps containing control data in areas like Temecula, Riverside & Temescal Valley. Found workarounds for continuous GPS work after the 3G Network was no longer available.
  • Utilized Carlson Office Software to complete Topographic & Boundary mapping. This includes, Linework (breaklines to hold tin true & line weights/color/template updates & matching for continuity), Boundary mapping & closures. Monument labeling, line labeling, Spot Elevation call outs.
  • Researching and investigation of site circumstances to declare a reasonable time frame of work. Records research (city/county records docs for easements, rights of access, utility layouts [when applicable]. Research existing lot information to determine best procedure/monument location to close boundary for lot line adjustments.

  • Consistently using the Leica MS60 along with the CS20 in our field surveys. Along with some older equipment, CS15 and GS14's to utilize the SMARTNET Network.
  • These tasks include: Field Staking, Boundary Search with live in the field created or updated Calculations. Scanning Storm Drain features, utilizing Leica Infinity to process Scan Data. Utilizing the the CS20's Codelist Library and the offset lineowrk capability for 3D features in order to convey to completion Field to Finish Surveys.
  • Creating Coordinate Systems in the CS20 or the CS15 using either a "1 Point Localization" or the "Determine Coordinate System" by uploading Adjusted Vectors per Record Maps and utilizing the "Match Points" Function.
  • Using Trimble equipment as well, such as TS7 and the TSC3 in combination with TBC in order to produce Survey Spreadsheets of our recorded information for PSEP. Along with creating alignments, uploading these Alignments for Staking as well as producing reports of the Field Data in relationship to the calculated alignments.
