Job duties consist of:
- Getting report from previous shift of ongoing and current open cases.
- Assisting all So-Cal KPC Global hospitals with HLOC, Emergent (TRAUMA, STEMI, STROKE) and Continuity of care transfers.
-Making sure patient info is accurate and insurance is up to date.
- Making phone calls to initiate new transfers outgoing, or completing intake for incoming transfers.
- Calling patient referred hospital Transfer Center to acquire update on open cases.
- Initiating Peer to Peer phone calls for referred and incoming transfer among MD's both Hospitalist and Specialist.
- Making End of Shift report with important notes on current open cases for next shift to follow.
- Endorsing report for next shift incoming.
- Callings on call MD's to get acceptance for patients while providing quick short and detailed info on cases.

My job duties include
-Providing everyday ADL assistance to patients
-Performing POCT hemoglobin test and glucose test
-Performing EKG on patients
-Performing CPR on patients
-Demonstrating safe patient handling (Gait belt, Hoyer Lift, Sara Steady)
-Cleaning Room and disinfecting
-Maintaining clean and safe hallways for patients and staff
-Stocking IV carts with essentials
