• The works are expected to last for 30 months at a total cost of 1.3 billion dollar and are part of the 1,224 kilometers Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) project connecting Dar es Salaam to Mwanza on Lake Victoria.All works pertaining to design, manufacture, assembly and operation startup of track superstructure, electrification, signaling, telecommunication, central control systems are being carried out by Yapı Merkezi.
  
  • Yapi Merkezi Construction have ranked 58th in ENR (Engineering News Record) Top 250 International Contractors 2022 list, and 174th in ENR Top 250 Global Contractors 2022 list.
  • Planning safe working practices and making necessary changes to ensure HSE/Safety programs are implemented
  o Implement developed Heavy lifting procedures ,prevention ,and hazard while lifting activities by Arranging work permit on bridge construction, lifting operations and working at height as well as Traffic management to earthwork team.
  • Managed 200 contractor safety professionals and their on-site employees reaching up to 5000 contractor employees.
  • Conducted safety audits of all contractor's jobs and provided results of leading indicators that were observed.
  • Served as EHS subject-matter-expert during planning and implementation of project.
  • Liaised resolutions between project management, facility operations and contractors on all project safety concerns.
  • Controlled the Accident / Incident Management System (AIMS) Database for recording and investigating all accident / incident documentation for tracking and reporting.
  • Created documentation of all incident/accidents for company and OSHA requirements

• Responsible for weekly safety reports that were presented to field and office management.
