During summer 2023 I house sat multiple times for my moms best friend which is also my neighbor well she was out of town traveling. Having this job require me to walk all four of her dogs plus feed and bathe them, do dishes and laundry, took mail and packages in from outside and took care of her garden such as watering all the different growing vegetables and fruit. It was challenging to do all by myself but really pushed me to keep being independent and knowing I could do it.

Back in March of 2023 to April of 2023 I babysat for one of my good friends I used to play tennis with at Stanford's club tennis team little sister. I would babysit for her every Tuesday after school because her older sister would have private tennis lessons and both of her parents were late at work. I would make her dinner, make sure she showered, helped with homework and made sure she would always get to bed at a reasonably time. Having doing this job made me more responsible because her parents had lots of trust in me to make sure she was not only safe but also on task to get everything she need to be done, done.

During my 8th grade year at my International School (Silicon Valley International), after school I used to tutor kids that where in grades under me Chinese as I am fluent and have been studying the language sense I was 2. Having doing this made me feel happy that I could help other kids out that were struggling in the topic. It made me way more patience if the student still wasn't understanding the concept after I had went over it multiple times. It not only motivated the students it also motivated me to always stay on top of tasks and listen in class to teachers so I would be in the position of the students needing to be tutored.

I worked at my cousins catholic school during summer of 2022 as a camp counselor for there annual summer bible camp for younger kids. This was located in Newport Beach, California. Other counselor and I would set up games for the kids to play, we would do afternoon bible readings, have lunch time and many more. Having doing this job required me to have patience with the children, social skills with other counselor to work together and having responsibility to take action when needed.
