Emmett Bye-Meyers

During my time at Elgin Park Secondary, I helped peer-tutor a Grade 8 PE class, supporting both the teacher and students during daily activities. I assisted with organizing drills, demonstrating skills, and encouraging students who needed extra guidance. Being in this mentoring role pushed me to communicate clearly, take initiative, and confidently lead groups in a busy gym setting. The experience strengthened my leadership abilities and taught me how to motivate others while keeping the environment positive and inclusive.
