Summary

Hardworking Undergraduate Nursing Employee, in my last semester of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing, currently practicing my preceptorship at Spirit River ER and Acute Care.

Currently working as both an Undergraduate Nursing Employee in rural acute care and Health Care Aide in the ER, ICU and other units as float. I am exposed to multiple patient care settings that have enabled me to grow as a nursing student ready to transition into an R.N.

I completed clinical hours in Community Health(Public Health), Med Surg, Mental Health, Maternity and Pediatrics, where I built and applied foundational nursing skills to deliver high quality, holistic patient care. I also completed my Leadership placement in the Surgical Unit where I worked alongside the Educator team to implement the ACBI project by incorporating innovative approaches and systems thinking to improve patient mobility.

I also have training and exposure to EKG performance, Holter monitors, and BP monitors, in addition to Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training that I obtained during my mental health rotation.

I am highly interested in transitioning from HCA and building a career in the department as a Registered Nurse.
