Work History

Respite Worker

ARCC Center
10.2025 - Current
  • I provided direct support to individuals with disabilities by helping with daily living activities and making sure each person received care that matched their specific needs. I worked closely with families and healthcare professionals to keep communication clear and supportive, and I helped clients stay socially connected through community activities. I regularly monitored client progress, documented any changes in behavior or health status, and advocated for clients during team discussions to support the best overall care. I also trained new respite workers on safety protocols and best practices, and I helped improve service delivery by giving feedback and suggestions to better support client outcomes. Throughout my work, I focused on providing emotional support to both clients and their families during challenging situations.

Babysitter

08.2024 - Current
  • Provided attentive childcare by supervising playtime activities to ensure safety, engagement, and a positive environment. Prepared nutritious meals and snacks while following dietary restrictions, and created consistent daily routines to support structure and comfort. Assisted children with homework and learning activities to encourage educational growth and build confidence. Communicated regularly with parents about children’s behavior, progress, and needs, and adapted quickly to changes by providing individualized care and support. Organized creative activities such as arts and crafts to promote imagination, cognitive development, and self-expression. Supported the household with meal prep, light housekeeping, and laundry, and managed sibling conflicts using effective conflict-resolution strategies to maintain a calm and peaceful home.

Barista

Starbucks
02.2023 - 08.2024
  • I work at Starbucks as a barista, I would have to make drinks, take orders, clean the store/ backroom and make sure I was connecting with the customers. I learned how to make all the different drinks, how to listen to a customer, I learned what I could do to help them to feel better if they are having a bad day. I also learned how to collaborate with my peers in order to have the most successful shift we could have.

Seasonal Sales Rep

Zumiez
06.2022 - 08.2022
  • I worked at Zumiez as a seasonal employee, I would help with customer service and I would help consumers find what they were looking for. An important part of the job was customer connections and I was able to help to get a lot of sales. One of my other jobs was to complete shipment. This was a hard task because I would have to look for all the products around the store. But, this made me very familiar with how shipping works and made me more familiar with the store. I learned how to properly communicate with a customer and how to help them with all of their questions.
