  • My role in a non-profit charity theater production was keeping all aspects behind the curtain in good working order and a smooth and successful production.
  • I actively coordinated all backstage personnel, actors, props, and costuming throughout the rehearsals, tech week, and during the performances.
  • Simultaneously, I made sure all cues were being met, adding and striking of props on stage, and solving all issues that arose in a quick and timely manner.

  • I help the elderly living here with daily tasks, companionship, and being a person who brings joy to their daily lives.
  • I attend game nights, events, meals, etc. with the residents.
  • This role allows me to give my time to those who were hard workers in their lives while listening to their incredible experiences and gaining invaluable advice and knowledge.
  • I have been volunteering at MPTF since I was young and have valued this time a great deal.

Youth Leader

  • I was a camp counselor for elementary school children at my local summer day camp.
  • My role was to supervise, keep the children safe, and entertain.
  • We would watch the kids playing on the playgrounds, come up with arts and crafts activities, and mitigate any squabbles or accidents.

Awards

Honor Medal for Completing 20 Theatre Productions, 05/01/16, I have acted in my local theater productions with the program Hidden Hills Players under the founder and director, Gloria Watts. I was awarded the medal for completing 20 plays with the organization. I participated in these plays since I was 6 years old up until 18 years of age. This involved all the challenges of production, including being a team player, memorization, and meeting deadlines. This prepared me for future positions as I learned to be an excellent public speaker. It was an integral part of my childhood that fueled my passion and taught me a great deal about film.

Affiliations

  • I was the Secretary of the film club R'shorts at my university April 2022 to August 2024. This involves being a leader for the club for others to look up to. I keep track of all member lists, all production applications, and notes from meetings. I keep the club constantly informed with time-sensitive information and am the first line of communication for the members and potential outside opportunities.
