Emily Ratner

I am a junior at Syracuse University, majoring in Psychology with a minor in Public Communications at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. With a passion for entertainment, paired with my career goals in public relations, I bring strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, complemented by a strategic and resourceful mindset. My academic background in psychology has trained me to analyze situations objectively and make informed decisions. My studies in public relations have honed my ability to build relationships, collaborate effectively, and develop impactful communication strategies.

Growing up in Los Angeles has introduced me to the entertainment industry and inspired me to purse a career in the field; specifically sparking my curiosity in the power of storytelling complimented with my interest in communication within the business. My previous work experiences, including internships at RappAround PR and American High Film Production Company strengthened my ability to manage relationships, create content, and contribute to successful campaigns. Additionally, my role as a Social Media Content Creator at Zipped Magazine has strengthened my creativity and ability to engage diverse audiences through digital platforms. I am now seeking work opportunities that will contribute towards my growth in the field of communication and public relations while combining my deep interest in film and entertainment.
