As an emergency unqualified supply teacher, I gained hands-on experience in a dynamic and challenging educational environment, providing support in elementary school classrooms across various subjects and grade levels. I was called upon to step into classrooms on short notice, ensuring minimal disruption to students' learning while adhering to established school policies and procedures. Key responsibilities included classroom management, instructional support, adaptability, collaboration, student engagement and administrative duties.

These experiences have provided me with valuable skills in safety management, customer service, and teaching, while fostering a commitment to promoting health and wellness within the community. As a Lifeguard, I am responsible for ensuring the safety of all pool patrons by enforcing safety rules, preventing accidents, and providing immediate first aid when necessary. My key responsibilities include emergency response, customer service, and team collaboration. As the Head Swim Instructor, I oversee swimming lessons for participants of various ages and skill levels. My responsibilities include staff supervision and management, building relationships with parents and administrative reporting. In my role as an AquaFit Instructor, I lead group fitness classes designed for participants of all ages and fitness levels. My contributions include class instruction and lesson planning, motivation and support, and health/wellness promotion.

As the Aquatics Team Lead at the Erin Palmateer Community Pool, I was responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the aquatics programs, leading a team of lifeguards and swim instructors, and ensuring the safety, enjoyment, and well-being of all pool patrons. My role combined leadership, program coordination, and operational management, allowing me to effectively manage both staff and resources while delivering high-quality aquatic services to the community.

As a private tutor, I worked closely with students to help them achieve academic success by providing personalized, focused instruction in Grade 9 Math and preparing a Grade 6 student for the EQAO assessment. My tutoring approach was tailored to meet the individual needs and learning styles of each student, aiming to boost their confidence, understanding, and overall academic performance.
