  • Prepare, organize, and review specimens prior to sending them to the appropriate lab to perform testing. This includes a review of the patient's unique identifiers, and accurate/appropriate specimen type and temperature, and aliquoting specimens when needed.
  • As a Tech IV, it is necessary each month to process a minimum of 40 tests per hour with little to no mistakes. My average tests per hour is 60, making me one of the top 20 processors out of over 500 processors in my department.
  • Assist Tech I and Tech IIs with questions and finishing orders they did not have system permission to finish on their own.
