Occasional/Supply Teacher

Renfrew County Catholic District School Board
  • During my work as an occasional supply, I took on the role as a teacher for several different grade levels within several different schools in the Renfrew County Catholic District School Board. This experience allowed me to see the environment of a classroom from a teacher’s perspective and gave me the chance to participate in daily classroom activities.

Practicum Placement Teaching

RCCDSB
10.2023 - 04.2025
  • In completing my Bachelor of Education program, I completed an eight week practicum at Our Lady of Lourdes in the Core French program, a five week practicum at Bishop Smith Catholic High School, and a final placement in a Grade 5 / 6 class at Cathedral Catholic School. These experiences allowed me to observe and learn from exceptional teachers and allowed me to practice my own teaching skills and philosophy. My responsibilities included teaching French as a Second language to Grade 5, Grade 5/6 , Grade 6, Grade 7, and Grade 8 students, and supporting my associate teachers in their Grade 4, Grade 1, and Grade 1/2 classrooms. Not only did this experience allow me to practice my teaching skills, but also allowed me to practice teaching French as a Second language.
