Summary

  • I completed my nurse training in the UK and worked, in health care, for 10 years prior to coming to Canada in 2008.
  • Since coming to Canada, I have worked in the ER in both MSA and ARH.
  • In 2010 I moved into the position of PCC on Cheam 3 in ARH for 3yrs before moving into the position of Complex Care Coordinator for the medical units with in Fraser East.
  • In 2014 I commenced working a Patient Care Coordinator in the medical unit in MMH.
  • In 2016, I switched to the part time PCC position in order to broadened by experience. I worked casually as an RN on the medical unit/ER/ADC/Scope room and PATH unit in Mission.
  • I completed my scope nurse training in Dec 2016. This included renewing my ALCS certificate in 2017.
  • In 2018, I returned to this position of PCC on Cheam 3 in ARH, which became the designated COVID unit at ARH.
  • In 2021, I moved into a temporary position as PCC on the Acute care of the elderly unit which in 2022 became a permanent full time position.
