She is an excellent verbal and written communicator with a strong background cultivating positive relationships and skilled at completing daily assignments while contributing to team success. Elsie is always willing to take on any task and adapts quickly to new needs and policies with a positive attitude.
Since moving to Kelowna, BC, Canada in September 2022, Elsie has been a stay at home mom with her two kids. Elsie has stayed updated with CPD activities as well as her professional registration during this time. With the kids now both in school, she has spread her professional wings in Canada, and jumped back into her career in 2025.
She is currently employed in a permanent position as an Inventory Liaison for the Cardiac Cath Lab at Kelowna General Hospital.
The Clinical Cardiac Cath Lab Inventory Liaison oversees the procurement, tracking, storage, and distribution of medical supplies, implants, and equipment used in the cardiac catheterization laboratory. Working closely with physicians, nurses, technologists, materials management, and vendors, this role ensures optimal inventory levels, cost-effective purchasing practices, regulatory compliance, and uninterrupted support of patient procedures.
Work in accordance with established vision and values of the organization and under the close supervision of a Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician, assists with various aspects of the Pharmacy Department Operations.
Performs packaging and distribution of unit dose medications, as well as specified inventory control and statistical reporting activities and other related clerical functions.
