The Clinical Cardiac Cath Lab Inventory Liaison oversees the procurement, tracking, storage, and distribution of medical supplies, implants, and equipment used in the cardiac catheterization laboratory. Working closely with physicians, nurses, technologists, materials management, and vendors, this role ensures optimal inventory levels, cost-effective purchasing practices, regulatory compliance, and uninterrupted support of patient procedures.

Work in accordance with established vision and values of the organization and under the close supervision of a Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician, assists with various aspects of the Pharmacy Department Operations.

Performs packaging and distribution of unit dose medications, as well as specified inventory control and statistical reporting activities and other related clerical functions.

Engaging and consulting with patients / clients

Communicating effectively and in a timely manner with different teams within the hospital to achieve the best patient outcome

Attending various meetings within the hospital and greater healthcare setting

This ranged from clinical, management, day to day small meetings and cultural team moral meetings

Collaborator within a multi-cultural workspace and taking on different roles in the pharmacy team as the workload requires

Efficient stock control, while considering financial implications and the ability to deliver effective care to patients

Auditing the scheduled medicine books to find and correct any discrepancies

Creating quality improvement programs for the pharmacy and the wards to improve the level of care given to patients as well as the teamwork to achieve a common goal

Managing the quality improvement programs implemented in the wards

Daily and monthly cash up procedures, finding and correcting any discrepancies when necessary

Drafting the work roster and shifts while keeping the pharmacy team happy and co-operating with the work schedule

Organizing the workspace for optimized workflow and efficiency.
