• Facilitated learning experiences for children and families by leading science activity stations.

UCI Nature - 2022, 2023

• Volunteer project to build a footbridge at San Joaquin Marsh, a UCI natural reserve. Participated in designing, planning and building it, as well as experience with International Building Code and outreach to professionals for help.
• Involved the adaptability to work with a team for a long period of time towards a large project.
• Assisted with ecological research and stewardship, including: Cactus Wren habitat mapping, vegetation sampling, and weeding for habitat restoration.

Orange Coast College - 2022, 2023, 2024

• Bird Banding. Consisted of field research alongside Biology professor at Burns Pinion Reserve. This involved the catching of and recording data on native bird species and uploading it into National Audubon Society database.
• Collaborative learning and research environment alongside experienced researchers, professors, and peers.
